FUNDING

These Islands is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and files annual accounts with Companies House in accordance with the provision of the small companies regime applicable to micro-entities.

These Islands is funded almost entirely by donations from supporters. Our only other source of income is events. We only accept donations which would be compliant with Electoral Commission rules on permissible sources. We do not receive any corporate or government funding, and do not accept donations from political parties.

These Islands' income in the last five financial years (to 28th February) was as follows:

These Islands expenditure is primarily one salaried employee, general office expenses, and the commissioning of polling.

In the 2022/23 financial year, These Islands received one donation of more than £7,500 (the threshold above which donations were reportable by political parties under Electoral Commission rules).
